 Life story of King O'Malley, young evangelist of the Waterlily Rock-bound Church, of which he made himself the bishop, political orator who support influenced the election of Grover Cleveland when he became president of the United States, romantic lover and devoted husband of his first wife Rosy, bereaved widower and wanderer in many parts of the world. He became consumptive with only a few months to live according to his American doctors. He travelled to Australia to find the sunshine to cure him, taking his coffin with him from San Francisco to Rockhampton, Queensland. He met Coowonga, an Aboriginal man who nursed him back to health. He then set out on a 2,000+ mile walk to Adelaide. He then entered Parliament. His persistence helped create the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, bring to Canberra, laying down the transcontinental railway, and originating the idea of Australia House, London.
